Hi There !  This is Cindy, I will give you a brief history of Hemp on Planet ORJ.

Hemp was the first plant cultivated on Planet ORJ over 100,000 years ago. Hemp led to the invention of agriculture and led to the development of civilization on Planet ORJ a long long time ago.

On Planet ORJ, Hemp constitutes over 80 percent of all agriculture. This is because the leader’s requires all farmers to have a quota, so they must grow and harvest a specified amount hemp every season.

On Planet ORJ, hemp for almost everything.  Energy, bio-fuels, construction materials, textiles, food, beer, soap, milk, and over hundreds of other goods including cannabis (CBD) for medicinal use, over 90% of the materials for Zork's Spacecraft that he came to earth on, is made from Hemp. The Spacecraft Fuel that was used to zap him over to Earth is also made from Hemp.

Because on Planet ORJ, they have so much data supporting the benefits of CBD, all of the Authorities, Leaders, and Government Agencies fully support the use of CBD for everyone.

A similar history of Hemp, being the foundation for Earth’s civilization and agriculture is also very plausible.  Nano Nano.

Hi Cindy here again.  Hemp history on Earth is very very disappointing.   Hemp was actually prohibited to be grown, harvested, and used in the 20th century because of mainly (i) political reasons and (ii) the greed of prominent citizens and industrialists.  Please read on, it's a bit lengthy but very interesting.

On Earth, Hemp has also played an important role throughout much of Earth’s history.

Evidence of Hemp cultivation was discovered in an ancient village in Taiwan dating back to over 12,000 years, and the first reported medicinal use of Hemp or Cannabis dates back to around 2900 BC. Since, Hemp and Cannabis continued to spread throughout Earth.

In the 1500’s, growing Hemp was a requirement by all farmers in England and you could be fined for not growing hemp.  In 1619, Americans had to abide by a similar law, and we used hemp as a means of creating rope, clothing, and other materials. In the 1700’s, Hemp/Marijuana was being used as a way of treating medical conditions and throughout much of the 1800’s Cannabis was used for its medicinal properties.

However, from 1900, Hemp has had to overcome many obstacles to reach its audience of today. In 1910, there was a Dr. Abraham Flexner. Dr. Flexner wrote a report called the ‘Flexner Report’ concluding that botanical holistic medicine, including the use of Cannabis does not serve any role because there is no science supporting it. Thus, medical schools based on botanical holistic medicine programs were all shut down, and thus Hemp was taken out of the picture for medicinal use.  There is talk that Flexner received a large gift for his report.

Around the same time, massive unemployment during the Great Depression increased public resentment toward Mexican immigrants who bought with them the practice of smoking cannabis recreationally, and thus Hemp cultivation became outlawed in many states.

The real backlash against the Hemp Plant is largely due to Harry Anslinger, the founder and director of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics from 1930~1962 and William Hearst who owned a newspaper as well as a timber business for paper production. Hearst and other prominent American businessmen Andrew Mellon, and the Dupont Family who's business were threatened by hemp was able to convince Congress to instill The Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 which banned cultivation and sales of hemp and thus cannabis became illegal in the USA.

These obstacles put a stop to scientific research on the subject of Hemp from 1937 to 2018 when the President Trump signed the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (popularly known as the 2018 Farm Bill) into law on December 20, 2018.  So for over for 80 years (from 1937 to 2018) Earth was not able to do any research in regards to Hemp and so presently there is no real world data supporting the holistical and medicinal benefits of CBD !

If these obstacles could have been avoided, CBD would probably have been a part of all of you on Earth, generations ago, but more importantly, you would have known so much more about the true benefits and versatility of CBD, and how to cultivate the best quality of Hemp there is.

The Absurd Situation That NEEDS to Change on Earth . . . .

Presently on Earth, because of this lack of available data, the authorities (FDA, Veterinarians, Educational Institutions, etc.) really do not support the use of CBD, stating that there is not enough evidence and data supporting the benefits of CBD.

An employee in a pet store, a person selling products at a stand in a shopping mall, and even a random person on Facebook can discuss, recommend, and even, (in reality) prescribe a particular CBD product for your dog, yet your Veterinarian — the very person who's most qualified and therefore should be providing you with such insight and advice — could get in trouble for doing so !  And that’s just absurd !

This is what we want to change.  It is our goal and mission to help Earth make up for this lost time of over 80 years and to get these Authorities on Earth to begin to support the use of CBD for all on Earth, by obtaining more Earth data to convince and persuade them to understand and accept the true benefits of CBD !!!  Nano Nano
